A high school relationship makes you consider the feelings of another.
It is a mystery why some relationships grow and some fail, but teens love the feeling of having someone close both physically and mentally.
But just know that soon she will be in college and want to explore so the relationship might not last. I love this guy who's 5 years older than me and he loves me back. If you still have questions just ask I am a mom and a very protective one,my 3 sons are very protective of their sister,so with that in mind if an older man wants to date my very young daughter..better not touch her.
You will be entering the work force and may meet all the new girls coming in to work and the old ones. But really, when I said I wasn't interested in her I really am not haha. my experience is that I could've but didn't, way back when... a couple of years makes a big difference developmentally whereas at my age (40) a 5 or even ten year gap, sometimes you find there's little difference. I am strictly against college guys dating lil gals in high school..not legal to date a minor and even though my daughter is in college now if a man in his 20's started having an interest in her when she was still in high school..well,her brothers are big guys who don't need anyone messing with their dear sister.
I think my reasoning back then was that I knew dating should help me find who I’m to marry and I knew I was too young to get married anytime soon.I looked up into his deep, brown eyes as he caressed my cheek in his hands. Our breathing was slow and steady as he gently moved in for a kiss. This is the story of my current high school relationship.I personally don't think all guys that go after younger ones are doing it because they are easily influenced, because sometimes they aren't. These relationshops will reqlly work oit if you guys try to make it possible.Sometimes, people really connect with others, and it's rough when age limits it. Many people may not like the age difference, but many will still support you if you show you really love her. I don't know what you plan to do, but don't let the age difference stop you.
