Open Web Analytics (OWA) is open source web analytics software that you can use to track and analyze how people use your websites and applications.

OWA is licensed under GPL and provides website owners and developers with easy ways to add web analytics to their sites using simple Javascript, PHP, or REST based APIs.

To run the installer with elevated privileges I added Install Privileges=”elevated” to the Package element.

To run the Custom Action with elevated privileges I added Impersonate=”no” and Execute=”deferred” to the Custom Action element.

You can find a full demo of OWA along with development examples over at the Demo & Examples site.

Distributed revision control (DRCS) takes a peer-to-peer approach, as opposed to the client-server approach of centralized systems.Revision control, also known as version control, source control or software configuration management (SCM), is the management of changes to documents, programs, and other information stored as computer files.Version control systems provide the ability to track (and potentially revert) incremental changes to files, reporting them to a mailing list as they are made, and can be used concurrently by many developers. If you do not work in an IDE with svn but on the command line, chances are that everything works out like a charm when doing refactoring work. You can check out my profiles in XING or Linked In. Maybe you even perform changes directly with commands like ‘svn move’ or ‘svn delete’.
